How personal can I get with my blog? Okay, first, it depends on the blog. If I am blogging about personal things, it is
a personal blog and I am say, in a community that deals with say, depression,
then I can get pretty personal, although I would not use my real name….
On the other hand, if I were doing a blog about my Papercraft,
then I would stick to that subject. I
could get personal – about my personal experiences with Papercraft. Struggles, thoughts, challenges… However, I would not talk about how my son
never cleans his room. That is personal,
bur not relevant to that
blog… Relevance is the key here as I see
it…
So, I am planning to start a new blog. One dedicated to my Papercraft. I liked what I read about WordPress, so I am planning
to go there. I think things I have said
on this blog may not be taken in the context I want for my papercraft blog and may even be detrimental to what I want to
achieve for my Papercraft blog…
When I get that set up, I will list a link from this blog to
that… but not the reverse :)
Hi Karl, I'm a little behind on my blogs but hope to be all caught up in a day or two. I agree it depends on what you're blogging about, be it all business, pleasure or something in-between on whether to get personal or not. However, humor I believe can work across all three...most of the time. Just don't go overboard with it. A little moderation can go a long way.
